This April, two generations of Rogan cooking come together in Southampton for a special collaboration.

From Thursday 30 April to Sunday 2 May, Simon Rogan will cook side by side with his son Daniel Rogan at AO by Daniel Rogan for a series of lunches and dinners celebrating their shared approach to seasonal, produce-led cooking.

Menus created together by father and son will draw on the regions surrounding their restaurants, from Simon’s roots in the Lake District to Daniel’s South Coast influences. Each dish reflects a shared philosophy of thoughtful cooking and a deep respect for ingredients.

Dinner will feature a 13-course tasting menu, while lunches from Thursday to Saturday will offer a nine-course menu, with the option of the full tasting experience. A special wine pairing has also been created for the event, highlighting vintages from generational winemakers.

The week concludes on Sunday 2 May with a Rogan family Sunday lunch. Expect classic dishes such as roast potatoes cooked in lightly smoked beef fat, miso-glazed carrots, braised red cabbage and spring greens with wild garlic butter, served alongside Daniel’s roast rib of beef or Simon’s roast Scottsdale pork belly.
